Each time you communicate with a sizable community that matters to you – your alumni and donors, your faculty and friends – you face a clear and inevitable challenge: How do you capture their interest and inspire them to action? How do you encourage them to engage in a meaningful way? And what if what you did last time won’t work this time?

I can help.  A writer and communications consultant, I partner with educational institutions to create strategic alumni, donor, and other development materials that illuminate and persuade. What makes me different? I'm a JD/MFA, and my unusual background combines legal experience with a creative mindset and more than a decade of collaboration with schools and universities. Analysis and imagination converge in my work. I know how to make a case – and make it resonate.

Together, we will reach the people you need to reach – with vivid, intelligent narratives that engage and energize your community.

My services include communications strategy and consullting, concept and content development, project management, research, and writing, for both print and digital media. While I partner primarily with educational institutions, I also occasionally work with nonprofit and corporate clients in health care, law, finance, and other professional fields.

Kristin Lund, FOUNDER and PRINCIPAL

A graduate of Middlebury College (BA in literature and writing, summa cum laude) and Harvard Law School (JD), Kristin practiced law for several years before earning her MFA in creative writing at Emerson College. Her work is acclaimed throughout Boston, New England, New York, and beyond. An unabashed wordaholic, she enjoys projects that require in-depth concept development, creativity, and vibrant language. Clients appreciate her intelligence, her management skills and professionalism, and her ability to streamline complex information while maintaining a fresh and inviting voice.

Highly imaginative yet anchored by common sense, Kristin taught writing at Emerson College for ten tremendous years. She eschews effervescence, worships tea, and devours books and films with reckless abandon.
